Waste Management Conference
BAL’s Technical Sales Manager, Jamie Fox, is attending the 42nd Annual Waste Management Conference in Phoenix from March 7 – 10, 2016. This is the premier international conference for the management of radioactive materials and will draw more than 2,000 scientists and waste management professionals from nearly 30 countries to collaborate and learn about the latest issues, research, and progress on a range of topics including heavy metals challenges. AOAC International Midyear Meeting
BAL’s President/CEO, Michelle Briscoe, and Director of Business Development, Russ Gerads, will be attending the AOAC International Midyear Meeting in Gaithersburg, which is held March 14 – 18, 2016. Michelle is a member of the AOAC Expert Review Panel on Heavy Metals, and at this meeting that Panel will be tasked with reviewing submitted methods for the analysis of arsenic speciation in food and beverages. The method submitted by Russ on behalf of BAL will be one of the five methods reviewed.
